HSE SUPERVISOR

PROFILE

• Reporting to the HSE Manager, the resource will supervise and monitor operational activities at the worksite, ensuring that they are carried out in full compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations and company procedures.
• Will conduct daily field checks, verifying proper use of PPE, compliance with safety plans, and waste and emission management.
• Will manage the reporting of any non-conformities and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Will work with site managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure high standards of safety and sustainability.
• Will actively participate in safety meetings and provide on-the-job training to operations staff.
• Will be an active participant in emergency management and first response, applying company procedures.

 REQUIREMENTS

• Technical degree or Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science or related disciplines
• Knowledge of current health, safety and environmental regulations (Legislative Decree 81/08 and environmental regulations)
• Ability to conduct site inspections, audits, and operational checks at the construction site
• Competence in the use and control of PPE and safety equipment
• Experience in compiling site HSE checklists, reports, and documentation
• Good communication and relationship skills with operational staff and suppliers
• Prior experience of at least 2 years in HSE or site safety roles
• Good knowledge of major computer tools (Office package)
• Willingness to travel domestically
