Two 26 MWp phases along the A37 motorway, built in a single construction season.
Hollandscheveld is a 51 MWp park in the municipality of Hoogeveen, in Drenthe, developed as two twin phases of around 26 MWp each along the A37 motorway. The client is PowerField, the EPC is GOLDBECK SOLAR.
The project is part of a package of seven parks totalling 108 MWp awarded by PowerField to GOLDBECK SOLAR and built between May and November 2023: the first stone was laid on 22 June 2023, the plant went into service on 8 February 2024. At full output it covers the consumption of around 15,000 Dutch households.
The landscape design was worked out together with local residents, the Het Drentse Landschap foundation and the Vechtstromen water authority: an area set aside for badgers with shrubs and fruit trees, the renaturalisation of an existing canal bank, low screening hedges and earth banks.
