The largest site in our portfolio: 130 MW across 230 hectares in the Aljarafe district, on the edge of Seville.
Salteras is the first solar park Chint Solar has built in Spain, and the first where the group acts as both developer and EPC. It covers 230 hectares in the Aljarafe district, the second metropolitan ring around Seville, and once at full output will supply more than 80,000 households.
The plant was developed together with the Spanish company Tartessos Power Development and is owned by the Hamburg-based CEE Group. The first module was symbolically installed in June 2025; grid connection is expected in the first half of 2026.
The project carries a strong environmental constraint: the Aljarafe is valuable ground for flora and fauna, and the layout was drawn to reduce land take and preserve the habitats of native species. For our crews that means working along very long rows without ever stepping outside the assigned corridors.
